How it all works
With TRÅDFRI remote control or the IKEA Home smart app you can control each blind individually or group several blinds to set different moods. Connecting the TRÅDFRI gateway to a router and downloading the IKEA Home smart app is when the real magic happens. The gateway will seamlessly talk to your connected smart blinds. With the app, you'll now be able to steer your home: Decide when the blinds should open or close - and set different moods in the app which you can activate with a tap.
