As a freelancer, the client often works late and wanted to create a workspace with more personal style and a cosy and warm space for her to relax or stay focused.
Our planning struck a balance between an efficient work environment and a cosy resting area. With the smart use of furniture, the designers divided the 150-square-foot studio into a work area, a leisure area, a pantry, and a hallway. The new layout will improve work efficiency while keeping the space organized and comfortable for a little break.
In addition, the designers also matched the styles and colours of the old and new pieces when selecting furniture, so as to create a more consistent look. The solution greatly increases the storage space and creates the minimalistic Scandinavian style favoured by the client.
